The Jan Martin Memorial Scholarship was established after Jan passed in February 2018.  Jan’s hospitality and giving demeanor was well respected in Clatsop County, particularly Cannon Beach.  This scholarship will go to a Seaside High graduate who shows leadership among peers and has been involved by volunteering in the community. The award may be used for post-high school training at any trade/technical or business school, two or four year college or university.

• G.P.A. of 2.5 or higher

• Additional Written Requirement: 1. Explain which community service activity has had the most impact on you and how. 2. What leadership qualities do you have, and how have you demonstrated them? 3. Give five adjectives that describe you.
